Joseph married Mary Ann ANTLE. Born in 1827. Mary Ann died in Spaniards Bay, Newfoundland on 10 Jan 1902, she was 75.

5. John Robert ROBERTS. Born on 1 Mar 1860. John Robert died in Botwood, Newfoundland on 20 Mar 1933, he was 73.

On 2 Mar 1883 when John Robert was 23, he married Sarah Ann MUGFORD, daughter of James MUGFORD, in St Peters anglican church Upper Island Cove Newfoundland. Born in 1863. Sarah Ann died in Botwood, Newfoundland on 1 Oct 1959, she was 96.
